The first successful year of the Danube Skills project

The two-day partners meetings within the Danube Skills project were held in Constanta on February 21st and 22nd. The representatives of the Port Governance Agency attended the meetings, since Agency participates in the project as an IPA partner.

During the first day, within the work package 4, the partners attended the training "Establishing of a Danube Logistics promotion center ". Through practical examples and experiences from various European institutions, lecturers gave guidance to the participants how to organize the provision and exchange of information. The Danube Logistics promotion center should provide the most important data and information related to Danube navigation to all interested parties.

The second day of the meetings was dedicated to the analysis of the implemented activities in the first year of the project. The lead partner pointed out the efforts of all partner organizations and especially emphasized the Port Governance Agency. During the first year, the Agency proved to be an institution that successfully worked on all tasks, especially in the field of capacity building.

Further steps, future activities and deadlines for 2018 were agreed at the meeting, with the belief that the second year of the Danube Skills project will be even more successful and bring the expected results.
