The nautical season at the international passenger terminal in Sremska Mitrovica began on May 3, with the arrival of the passenger ship "Victor Hugo" with 80 passengers from France.
The passenger terminal in Sremska Mitrovica is the second on the Sava river, next to the one in the capital, and it was opened at the beginning of March this year. In addition, the Agency has invested funds in the construction of terminal in Šabac, which will create the possibility of establishing a river connection, by boat, between Šabac and Sremska Mitrovica, i.e. Belgrade. Sremska Mitrovica is one of the locations included in the "Sail through Serbia" project.
The development of cruising in Sremska Mitrovica will improve tourism and the economy of this city and will also contribute to the success of nautical seasons in Serbia.
