Previous decade passed under the sign of a good and continuous cooperation between Serbia and Romania in the field of water transport, is the conclusion of the tenth anniversary of the event "Constanta Port Day", which was attended by representatives of the Port Governance Agency.

This event eventually became the most important transport event and has grown into a regional meeting with the participation of the interested representatives from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, Croatian, Hungary, Austria.

Last year, the total transit of goods from Serbia through Constance was 2,211,726 tons, but only in the first seven months of this year, the turnover amount grew to 3,130,239 tons of various cargoes. Participants of the event agreed that the port of Constanta offers competitive advantages that should be used, because in this way. Serbian companies that use the port of Constanta can find new directions for the development and connect to Romanian companies.

On this event, there was an announcement of the new investment projects that will increase the efficiency of the port, which in October is expected another significant jubilee 120 years since the founding and the beginning of modern business Constanta.
