The Chinese company "China Harbour Engineering Company" (CHEC) is interested in building a new port on the Danube

The representatives of these companies met today with representatives of the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure in the Government of Serbia where they spoke about a possible project on the left bank of the Danube near the bridge "Mihajlo Pupin" in Belgrade.

In the first meeting of the Coordination Body for the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Republic of Serbia and CEE Chinese delegation expressed interest in participating in this project, for which the company has already begun geotechnical investigations in order to reach the economic indicators required for a feasibility study.
