The Agency took over the chairmanship of the Expert Group of the Danube Commission

The session of the Expert Group for Ports and Port Operations of the Danube Commission was held in Budapest on March 21. The Agency, as the Port Authority of the Republic of Serbia, also participated in the work of the group.

Members of the group, that brings together port administrations in the Danube region, discussed strategic issues related to the development of Danube ports. In addition, the review of the TEN-T network, the implementation of climate goals and the contribution to the energy transition were discussed. The representatives of the Agency held a presentation on the upcoming changes on the TEN-T network, when it comes to Serbian ports. At the meeting, it was officially confirmed that in the next year the Expert Group will be chaired by the Port Governance Agency.

The participants of the meeting agreed that the initiatives presented at the meeting will significantly contribute to the further development of ports and port operations in the Danube region.
