Technical Committee of the Transport Community

The Port Governance Agency participated in the 3rd Waterborne Transport and Multimodality Technical Committee, held in Port of Bar. The meeting brought together regional partners from the Western Balkans.

Director of the Transport Community Matej Zakonjšek pointed out that joint work is a prerequisite for the improvement of waterway transport and its potentials.

The regional partners presented their progress according to the measures identified in the Action plan for Waterborne transport and multimodality.

During the meeting, the Port Governance Agency presented the goals and activities of the international project DIONYSUS, which the Agency participates in as an IPA partner.

DIONYSUS will contribute to achieving the goal - Danube ports a part of multimodal and intermodal transport systems, as well as industrial development centres, it was concluded at the meeting.
