Vuk Perović, acting director of the Port Governance Agency, participated in the conference " Multi-lateral Development Bank / Global Development Fund Project Plaza (MDB/GDF) 2017" held in Seoul.
The conference was jointly organized by KOTRA, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Ministry of Strategy and Finance of the Republic of South Korea, with the aim to present the most important infrastructure projects from Asia, Africa and Europe.
Participants had the opportunity to promote their relevant projects in the field of infrastructure, energy and environmental protection, and individual meetings with companies from South Korea were organized. According to the organizers, the purpose of the meetings was to establish cooperation between major international financial institutions, overseas project owners and Korean companies.
In his address to the audience, Perović presented the work and results of the Port Governance Agency and stressed the importance of the project of New Port in Belgrade. According to him, the significance of the project is multiple, bearing in mind that it envisages an increase in the number of terminals and storage capacities. "By building a larger and modern port, Belgrade will become the main multimodal transport hub in Southeast Europe", Perović concluded.
