Second marina on the Danube river declared

At the initiative of the Port Governance Agency, the Government of the Republic of Serbia adopted the Regulation on declaration of the port area, terminal for special purposes - Marina in Golubac. Golubac thus became the second marina declared in Serbia on the Danube River, after the marina in Kladovo was declared at the beginning of this year.

The Government of the Republic of Serbia continues to regulate the normative framework in this area, and investments in marinas are also planned.

In the following period, the Agency will invest funds in the development of marinas in Golubac and Kladovo, having in mind their importance for nautical tourism and the development of the Lower Danube.

In order for these two locations to be ready for the construction and adaptation of the necessary infrastructure, works are planned on the hydrographic measurement of the waters of the marina area and on the removal of river sediment by the end of this year.
