A representative of the Port Governance Agency attended and successfully completed the Modern Port Management course (Modules 5-8), organized within the UNCTAD Train for Trade Port Management program, supported by the Republic of Ireland and the Port of Cork. The course was held in the city of Cork, from 22.05.-31.05.
The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) through this training program supports developing countries and their efforts to establish effective and competitive port management. The program gathers public, private and international participants. The exchange of knowledge and professional experiences strengthens the development of human resources in port communities, and the main goal is to increase the flow of goods and the stimulation of economic development.
