The Port Governance Agency recorded in this year's nautical season 1,416 port calls and 134,946 embarked and disembarked passengers. After the suspension of cruising due to the pandemic and the reduced volume of international passenger traffic in 2021, when three times less port calls than in this season were recorded, this year's results point to the recovery of cruising.
The most port calls were recorded in Belgrade - 548. At the international passenger terminal in Novi Sad 368 port calls were recorded, while in Donji Milanovac the season ended with 264 port calls and 211 in Golubac.
During this year, the Agency opened an international passenger terminal on the Danube, in Kostolac. In addition, funds were invested in the construction of international passenger terminals in Šabac, Sremska Mitrovica and Veliko Gradište (Ram). In the next nautical season, the Agency will open terminals in Zemun, Sremska Mitrovica and Šabac.
Together with the Government of Serbia, the Agency will continue to invest in the development of passenger terminals and to promote them in the domestic and international frameworks, in order to fully utilize the nautical potential of our country.
