The record in the number of port calls in Serbia has been broken, as 1,500 port calls at international passenger terminals had been recorded as of November 4.
The number of port calls is larger by 30% compared to 2018 and more port calls are expected before the end of the nautical seasons, which has been extended thanks to the favourable weather conditions.
Cruise ships most often dock in Belgrade, and the projections say that the capital of Serbia will see over 100,000 passengers this year, which adds that Belgrade, along with Vienna, Budapest and Bratislava, is a mandatory destination on the Danube.
In Serbia, after Belgrade, most port calls are recorded in Novi Sad, Donji Milanovac and Golubac.
