The meeting of the Working Group for ports and inland waterways The Rhine-Danube corridor was held on 27 September in Brussels. The meeting was also attended by a representative of Port Governance Agency.
At this year's session of the Working Group the discussion was held about the status of important projects in this area such as the improvement of rail links to the airport in Budapest, improvement and environmental protection in the port of Constanta, smartly integrated waterway management (SWIM).
Rajnsko- Danube corridor core network was also held, where they discussed about the results of the calls for project funding in 2015. under the program CEF (Connecting Europe Facility) as well as the nominated projects for the year 2016. On the meeting, there were also presented the priorities of future activities aimed at the development of the TEN network.
