During the first 9 months of 2016 there were overloaded 7,403,061.29 tons of cargo in river traffic. Of the total volume of cargo, more than a third of gravel, sand and stone aggregates, followed by grain, oil and petroleum products as well as bulk.
Regarding the passenger traffic at the end of September were recorded 823 of passenger ships and 102.112 passengers, of which more than half were in Belgrade.
8466 invoice was drawn up on the basis of payment of port and harbor fees. There was a high rate of collection of fees, nearly 82%.
The increase in the number of cargo and satisfactory rate of collection of fee charges are indicators of the development of the port economy and aspirations of Serbia to strengthen its position on the water map of Europe.
